Dogs in Riot's Pedigree

Piemonte GWPs was founded by Dr. Aloysia Hard in 1979. Shortly after she purchased her first GWP, she moved to Germany, taking her new dog with her.  While in Germany, she  successfully competed against some of the top dogs in that country, winning the prestigious  Bundessieger (Best of Breed) award at the Dortmund for German Republic National  Championship--not once but four years in a row! Before moving back to America, Aloysia purchased two Wirehairs from Italy.  She was  extremely pleased with the good-natured temperaments and impressive field abilities of  these two dogs, and eventually imported a third dog from the same Italian kennel. These are the foundation of Piemonte Kennels, and Piemonte has consistantly been  able to produce German Wirehaired Pointers with wonderful temperaments to go  along with their outstanding field abilities. Piemonte Oliver V Chisola .... "Oliver" was a sweet dog who proved himself to be a 

natural hunting dog, with a lot of drive, and very nice pointing style. Oliver was a 

major pointed in the show ring. (Grand Sire -Dams side)

Ch Piemonte Idawire Annabel V Chisola "Annie"  is an active hunter and did well in the show ring. Annie's won 3 "majors" in the show ring. She placed 2nd in the 2006 GWPCA National Field. Futurity and was Reserve Winners Bitch at the 2007 GWPCA National Specialty (Grand Dam - Dams Side)

DC Piemonte Zoie V Chisola MH finished her Dual Championship on 08/27/06 with a 

3-point Amateur Gun Dog Win.  Zoie is Piemonte's second Dual Champion. Zoie has 

beautiful style on her birds and has proven herself to be an excellent hunting dog. 

Zoie lived with Jodi Quesnell of Idawire GWPs. Zoie earned all of her field points with 

Jodi's husband Tom handling her. Zoie was trained by Jodi. (Great Grand Dam - Both sides of Dam)

FC Piemonte Guido V Chisola "Guido" was a dog with tremendous drive and style in the 

field.  He is also was a natural retriever. He had a hard, wirey coat that was easy to maintain.  

He needed only 3 points to become a Dual Champion.In 1998 he placed 3rd in the GWPCA 

National Championship.  In 2002, he placed 4th in the GWPCA National Championship and 

was the GWPCA #1 Open Gun Dog.  

Ch Ali Del Chisola JH "Luigi"and his littermate Gina came to Piemonte GWP from  Europe in 1988.  He was an American show champion and had multiple field trial  placements, including 4th place in the 1994 GWPCA National Championship.  He also  had 4 legs on his Master Hunter.  He was owner handled. Luigi sired excellent hunting  dogs, a field champion and a number of hunt test dogs.  He has passed down his style,  natural pointing ability and biddability thru three generations.
